Of 16 patients with cancer of the cervix treated by radium and mesothorium. He believed that radium was the more effective of the two agents. Schindler described some very favorable -results in the treatment of cancer of the cervix by mesothorium and radium. Scherer and Keley concluded that the treatment of 218 cases of cancer of the cervix by X-ray and radium gave per cent greater freedom from recurrence than operation alone formerly gave.
